Miles Voss is a Georgia native who was born and raised in Suwanee, Gwinnett County. He attended the University of North Georgia, where he participated in the Corps of Cadets and graduated with academic honors in 2019. Miles earned his law degree from Mercer University School of Law in 2022, also graduating with academic honors. While at Mercer, he was inducted into Phi Delta Phi, the international legal honor society.
Since 2022, Miles has served as an assistant public defender, representing individuals who cannot afford private counsel. That work has given him extensive courtroom and trial experience. He has tried more than a dozen cases and obtained full or partial acquittals in all but two. For nearly a year, Miles also led the Dawson County Public Defender’s Office, overseeing its operations while continuing to advocate for his clients.
In 2025, Miles was selected to participate in the highly selective Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program, which admits only a limited number of attorneys each year. The program further strengthened his skills in courtroom strategy, trial preparation, and persuasive advocacy.
Miles is passionate about litigation and trial advocacy. He thrives in the courtroom and takes pride in providing determined, effective representation to every client. Outside the practice of law, Miles enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and hiking.
